Welcomed and sponsored the travel of Neil Armstrong´s son and granddaughter to come to Iceland an participate in the Explorers Festival in Husavik and to participate in a special screening of the film First Man followed by a Q&A with Neil Armstrong´s family. Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon, trained in Iceland in preparations for the Apollo 11 mission, and Iceland has a special place in the family’s hearts from their time here.
